PARTICIPANT INFORMATION
Engelbrektsloppet 45 in classic style on 2 Feb 2025 in Norberg.
ENGELBREKTSLOPPET 45: Long-distance race in classic style over 45 km 1 x 30 km + 1 x 15 km with laping at the Square. Both race- and amateur classes for women and men. Engelbrektsloppet 45 is part of the Swedish Classic Half and is seeding for Vasaloppet.
CLASSIC TECHNIQUE applies.
SKATING PROHIBITED. Skiers who violate the regulation will be disqualified. Marshals are located along the track.
TRACK: 4 tracks from start to 1.3 km. Thereafter, at least 2 tracks around the entire track. Slow skiers keep right and overtaking is done on the left. Show consideration. Do not change tracks in a way that obstructs fellow competitors.

START TIME: 10:00 AM. All in the race class receive individual start times when passing the starting line.
REGISTRATION FEE until 30/9: 850 SEK
REGISTRATION FEE 1/10-26/1: 1,025 SEK
REGISTRATION FEE 27/1-31/1: 1,200 SEK
REGISTRATION FEE 1/2-2/2: 1,600 SEK. Direct registration closes at 9:00 on the day of the race.
START CERTIFICATE: Sent by email for self-printing or shown on mobile when collecting the number bib. The start certificate will be sent out on Wednesday, 31 January. For those purchasing a bus package, the start certificate serves as a ticket.
TRANSFER OF STARTING PLACE: See instructions on how to change the name on your order here.
START FIELD: Seeded start group at the front in designated area, followed by other skiers in the race class and lastly amateur class.

TIME RESTRICTIONS: In Klackberg after 36 km at 16:00.
MAXIMUM TIME: The finish line closes at 18:00. Anyone who has not reached the finish by 18:00 will not receive a finishing time.

CLOTHES: Place overclothes in YOUR OWN BAG. NOTE: You are responsible for attaching the sticker label with your bib number to your bag. The sticker label is in your race packet. Keep your overclothes on until the announcer signals to remove them. Place the bag with your clothes outside the start area at designated spots. Clothes will be returned at Frida Hansdotter Arena upon showing your bib number.
GEAR STORAGE: Can be left inside Frida Hansdotter Arena, follow signs.
CHANGING & SHOWERS: Ladies in Frida Hansdotter Arena. Men in the large gym hall. Follow signs. Open 08:00-18:30
TIMING: Done with a chip provided in the race packet. Instructions on how to mount it around the ankle are included.
DRINK STATIONS: |n Nordansjö after approx. 9 km, in Klackberg after approx. 21 km, at the laping after 30 km, in Klackberg after approx. 36 km, and at the finish line. There will be water, sports drink, blueberry soup, broth, coffee, and buns available.
TRACK MARKINGS: Signs show kilometers remaining to the finish.
ABANDON THE RACE: If you need to drop out of the race, contact medical personnel at the nearest checkpoint. They will report to the race office that you have abandon the race and arrange transportation to the finish line. NOTE: Your chip must be returned to medical personnel or race officials.
RESULTS: Results list on engelbrektsloppet.se. The list is presented in women's and men's, recreational categories. The list is presented as "one list," but each skier can also see their placement in their age group. On the website, you can also sort by age groups.
PRICES: Prizegiving ceremony at the Square at 13:30 for the top five in the race class for women and men. 1st place 5,000 SEK, 2nd place 4,000 SEK, 3rd place 3,000 SEK, 4th place 2,000 SEK, 5th place 1,000 SEK. The money will be paid out to the athletes ski club.
MEDALS: The Engelbrektsloppet medal will be handed out directly after finishing the race to all who complete the race.
DIPLOMAS: In connection with registration, you can purchase a diploma for 100 SEK. It will be sent by post after the race.
FOOD AFTER THE RACE: Available for purchase (via Swish or cash) at Centralskolan between 12:00-17:00.
BREAKFAST: Available for purchase at Centralskolan from 08:00.
LOST AND FOUND: Can be inquired about at our office at the finish line at the Square, phone +46 223 20419. Engelbrektsloppet is not responsible for items lost or left behind.
MEDICAL: Medical personnel are available at the Start/Finish line, at the food station in Nordansjö, and at the Square in Norberg. There is a heated cabin and access to a snow mobile with a rescue sled.
MEDICAL CENTER: Located at the finish line.
COMPETITION RULES: The Swedish Ski Association's competition rules apply. Participants, officials, and spectators attend the event at their own risk. The organizer disclaims all responsibility for any damage or similar incidents that may occur in connection with the competition. By registering, you agree to have your information stored.

ENVIRONMENT: Do not litter on the trail. There are trash bins and bags to dispose of litter at the checkpoints and at the finish line, or take your litter home. Empty gel packets are harmful to animals. Take care of nature. If you want to use your own drinking vessel, e.g. a cup or similar, you can bring it and have your drink poured into it.
