PARTICIPANT INFORMATION
Engelbrektsloppet 30 km in classic style on February 8, 2025 in Norberg.
ENGELBREKTSLOPPET 30: Long-distance race in classic style 1 x 30 km with start and finish at the square in Norberg. Only amateur classes for women and men. Engelbrektsloppet 30 is part of En Svensk Klassiker Korta and En Svensk Klassiker Tjej.
CLASSIC TECHNIQUE applies.
SKATING PROHIBITED. Skiers who violate the regulation will be disqualified. Course officials are along the track.
TRACKS: 4 tracks from start to 1.3 km. Then at least 2 tracks around the entire course. Slow skiers stay on the right track and passing is done on the left. Show consideration. Do not change tracks in a way that obstructs other competitors.

START TIME: 10:00. Everyone will have an individual start time when passing the starting line.
REGISTRATION FEE until 30/9: 695 SEK.
REGISTRATION FEE 1/10-2/2: 850 SEK.
REGISTRATION FEE 3/2-6/2: 1,000 SEK.
REGISTRATION FEE 7/2-8/2: 1,400 SEK. Direct registration closes at 9:00 am on the day of the race.
STARTING PERMIT: Sent by e-mail for self-printing or shown on the mobile phone when picking up the bib. The starting permit will be sent out on Wednesday, February 7th. For those who purchase a bus package, the starting permit serves as a ticket.
START FIELD: Only one recreational class with free placement, no seeding in Engelbrektsloppet 30.

TIME RESTRICTIONS: |n Klackberg after 21 km at 16:00.
MAXIMUM TIME: The finish line closes at 18:00. Anyone who is not at the finish line by 18:00 will not receive a finishing time.

CLOTHES: Place the overclothes in YOUR OWN BAG. NOTE! You are responsible for attaching the adhesive label with your bib number at designated spots. Clothes can be retrieved at Frida Hansdotter Arena upon showing the bib.
GEAR STORAGE: Can be left inside Frida Hansdotter Arena, follow the signs.
CHANGING & SHOWER: Ladies in Frida Hansdotter Arena. Men in the large gymnasium. Follow the signs. Open 8:00 - 18:30
TIMING: Done with a chip included in the race packet. Instructions on how to attach it around the ankle are provided.
DRINK STATIONS: 1st at Nordansjö after approx. 9 km, in Klackberg after approx. 21 km, and at the finish line. There you will find water, sports drink, blueberry soup, broth, coffee, and buns. COURSE MARKINGS: Signs indicate kilometers left to the next lap/finish line.

ABANDON THE RACE: If you abandon from the race, contact medical personnel at the nearest checkpoint. They will report to the race office that you have retired and arrange transportation to the finish line. NOTE: Your chip must be returned to the medical personnel or finish line officials.
RESULTS: Results list on engelbrektsloppet.se. The list is presented in women's and men's, recreational categories. The list is presented as "one list," but each skier can also see their placement in their age group. On the website, you can also sort by age groups.
MEDALS: Engelbrektsloppet's medal is awarded directly after the finish to all participants who complete the race. You can purchase a diploma for two kr. It will be sent by post after the race.
BREAKFAST: Available for purchase at Centralskolan from 08:00.
LUNCH: Available for purchase (via Swish or cash) at Centralskolan between 11:30-17:00.
LOST PROPERTY: Inquiries can be made at our office at the finish line at the square, tel 0223-20419. Engelbrektsloppet is not responsible for items that have been lost or damaged for any reason. Clothes not collected before March 1 will be donated to a charity organization.
MEDICAL CARE: Medical personnel are available at the Start/Finish, at the food station in Nordansjö, and at Torget in Norberg. A warming hut is available, as well as access to a scooter with a rescue sled.
MEDICAL CENTRAL: Located at the finish line.
COMPETITION RULES: The Swedish Ski Association's competition rules apply. Competitors, officials, and spectators attend the event at their own risk. The organizer disclaims all responsibility for any injury or similar incidents that may occur during the event. By registering, you agree to your information being stored electronically and your email address being used to receive information from us about the races and related activities.
ENVIRONMENT: Do not litter on the track. There are trash cans and bags to dispose of litter at the checkpoints and at the finish line, or take the litter home. Empty gel packs are harmful to animals. Take care of nature. If you want to use your own drinking vessel, such as a cup or similar, you can bring it and have your drink poured into it.
